Treated Found Poetry: Spindly Trees

Who has ever daydreamed
about snaking through the forests
This December fairy tale
has no sense of place or time
Purity shouldn’t expect to decipher
Cinderella’s ruined gown.

The plot thickens at every spindly tree.
