Found Poetry: A Secret Shame

You want me to just relax
thinking about your honesty.
I think ahead, that intellect-paranoia.

My God.
My surprise.

Deal in magic to see the world;
exposure to the things in someone’s eyes
for just a second
let fear affect him.

Human misery and suffering —
flesh and suffering —
cold fury in one dim corner.

Hidden away, there lurked a secret shame.
I would spill blood to erase it,
that dark place inside,
alone.
